If you’ve never been to a true small-town Minnesota coffee shop, The Local Blend in St. Joseph pretty much nails that vibe. It’s one of those places where the second you walk in, it feels homemade, and just very “Minnesota.” Everything from the food to the artwork is tied back to the community. Here’s review that breaks down what The Local Blend does well and gives you a closer look at their menu: The Local Blend: breakfast and coffee review What I like about The Local Blend is that it’s exactly what these kinds of articles talk about  local food, local artists, and that small-town energy that makes it feel more like a hangout spot than a business.

As you walk in The Local Blend in St. Joseph, MN the first thing I noticed was how warm and welcoming it feels inside. The wood decor, and the smell of fresh muffins and coffee in the warm air. “Fresh coffee and pastries and always warm vibes every morning.”   Inside the shop feels  handmade and local, from the mugs to the bakery items. It’s the kind of spot where you could sit for hours without realizing it!

Introduction

Welcome to my blog, where I share about small local Minnesota businesses and give them the recognition they deserve. In this blog, I’ll keep everything honest and non-biased to make sure each place gets a fair review. I’ll be writing about what the spot looks like, what the food tastes like, and the overall vibe I get when I’m there. Throughout this blog, I’ll be highlighting different local spots, starting with The Local Blend in St. Joseph, Minnesota. It’s a small-town coffee shop with a community  and a menu built around local ingredients.
